Kill of the Week

The kill of the week is an interesting killmail we have found through our countless hours of reading through the killmails this past week. It could be the most expensive fit loss, the most hilarious fit loss, or a completely random because reasons!

Hello Gents,

I heard u asking last episode for more information and stories about what the mighty BNI has been up to, so I thought I would send this one through to you.

Best roam I have been on so far, small fights but a lot of fun trying to get home with the item we looted.

http://www.reddit.com/r/Bravenewbies/comments/1pvmuz/the_roam_of_the_scorp_navy_issue/

A few things are left out, the guy that came in with the omen navy was the Scorps owner, seems he didn’t want the expensive kill mail or wanted something that could hit frigates a little better so came back in the omen after he left the Scorp.

We were reported to intel channels as soon as we came into system but the guy still stayed in the Scorp instead of moving to a safe.

Rats were killed by our frigates so we could steal the ship and then on the way back we hit the gate camp. We believe this camp was the result of us being reported in system and they hunted us while we waited for an escort fleet to form up and help us get our looted ship out. The camp was roughly 2 Armageddon’s, 2 Legions, a Sabre, a Munnin, I believe a Maller and some fast tackle.

The gate camp was gone by the time the rescue fleet got to us, and we moved back home at a very quick pace.

Ship is still intact and there was talk that this guy should be recruited to BNI, lol.

Love the show, keep up the great work.

Regards

They apparently came looking for a fight on our deployment station, and everyone wanted some fun. Good fights and thanks to the Goons for coming down.

The main amusing comment BNI is taking from this is from an unknown Goon member who said: “I NEED REPS!” to which the reply was “WE ARE GIVING THEM TO YOU BUT THEY HAVE 50 THORAXES.

Good show. The talk about node crashes and how they impact us was my favorite part. I would like to know what CCP plans to do about multi thread/core code. The SOE ships look interesting and I am looking forward to seeing what pilots do with them and what the cost will end up being.
